Spring Clean-Up Services

Thorough removal of all salt and grit deposits from edges of lawns, common areas and all parking and drive areas. All winter debris (leaves, twigs, branches, etc.) will be raked, swept and picked up from the lawn areas and beds before the growing season. Ruts will be evened out and spot seeded. General cutting throughout the property which includes mowing, and trimming around trees, walks, curbs, utility fixtures, drains, catch basins, and patios, in order to establish a neat appearance, Edge cutting of sidewalks, access roads, curbs, trees, and shrubs to establish a neat appearance. All debris will be removed from the site.

Fall Clean-Up Services

Thorough removal of all debris (leaves, twigs, branches, etc.) from the lawn, beds and all parking and drive areas before the growing season ends of November 30th which ever comes last. A complete blowing of common lawn areas. General cutting throughout the complex which includes cutting and trimming around trees, walks, curbs, utility fixtures, drains, catch basins, and patios. Edge cutting of sidewalks, access roads, curbs, trees, and shrub beds. All debris will be removed from the site.

Fertilization Package

Aspen Companies offers a Six-Step Fertilization package. Four applications of fertilizer will be applied throughout the year. Lawn Weed Control: Two applications for a broadleaf weed control will be applied throughout the year. Lime: One application of pellet limestone to the lawn area in the fall.

• Mulch Management - Installation of double hammer-milled hardwood mulch to all existing mulch beds.
• Drainage and Dry Stream Beds – Aspen can provide you with drainage to help with water problems you may have. Aspen can also make a dry Stream bed to allow water to run off in an area that you wish rather than washing away your lawn and mulch areas.

Lawn Management Practices

Clippings and Cuttings

Cleanup and removal of paper, trash, twigs, and other undesirable material prior to mowing. All clippings and cuttings will be picked up, air blown or swept clean before leaving the premises after the completion of the workday. All sidewalks, patios, driveways, and roadways will be blown off after lawn mowing and trimming.

Lawn and Bed Edging

Edge cutting of sidewalks, access roads, curbs, trees, and shrub beds to maintain a neat appearance.

Lawn Mowing and Trimming

General cutting throughout the property on a weekly/bi-weekly basis. This includes mowing and trimming around trees, walks, curbs, utility fixtures, drains, catch basins, and patios in order to maintain a neat appearance. Lawns will be mowed at 3″ height in spring and when its cool, 3 1/2″ in the heat of the summer, and shorter in the fall to permit seed growth. Smaller mowers will be used in areas where large commercial mowers would rip up the turf or not fit properly.

We have equipment specialized for every type of lawn. Small push mowers and string trimmers for small lawns with tight areas to get into. Large Walk behind mowers and ride on mowers for the larger lawns. Back pack blowers and wheel blowers to remove all clippings from driveways, walks, patios, street…

Shrubbery Management

Pruning Shrubbery

All shrubbery will be pruned to maintain neat appearance. However, a natural look will be preserved whenever possible. Weeding of beds can be done on a continuous basis, or per occurrence.
